The Ful-on Boys got the 2012-13 Surrey League Cross Country season off to a cracking start, with a big turnout of 20 athletes making their way down the M3 to Lightwater Country Park. Back in Division 3 this season, the guys pulled off a classy match win on a punishing hilly course, pushing Croydon Harriers and Dulwich Runners in to second and third place.
It seems to have been a year for tough conditions on the Ironman circuit and this years World Championships in Kona was no exception as the legendary winds gusted across the Queen K' Highway and the temperatures soared into the high 30s to deliver some of the toughest race conditions on the Big Island in recent years.
Once again it's one of our superstar ladies showing top form on the world stage as Kate Mapham races to a podium position at the ITU Duathlon World Championships in Nancy, France.
Kate had an outstanding race, but stormed home with the fastest final run time of all the ladies to take the bronze medal in her age group.

Ful-on Tri took on Challenge Henley on mass with 21 members racing in the half challenge event. It's always good to see lots of fellow team-mates on the course, but even better when the black, white & yellow is dominating the front end of the race. It was a very proud afternoon for the club as we walked away with no less than 8 of the trophies -
The Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas is a truly brutal race, with a hilly bike course and over 9kms of climbing on the run. On a sizzling hot day which caused many of the worlds finest athletes to melt in the heat, our finest Ful-on triathletes braved the brutal conditions to deliver some close racing and inspirational performances.
